The retired chairman of BB&T is a steadfast supporter of individual liberty who was virtually alone among CEOs in saying NO to bank bailouts during the recent financial crisis. Allison delivered the keynote address at the Atlas Experience Fisher Memorial Dinner on Wednesday, April 21 on the causes of the crisis, business ethics, and the importance of self-esteem.
