Theme of speech
Why not capitalism? Free markets and liberty are at the root of
prosperity. One of our era’s most articulate defenders of freedom
was the late Milton Friedman. In this talk, we will discuss the
tradition of liberty as it is discussed in some of Friedman’s work,
and we will explore some of the important themes in this tradition
since the time of Adam Smith.
