On April 3, 2004, Atlas co-hosted an event with the Nassau Institute in The Bahamas on the topic of "The Global Challenge and the Need for Reform." The event showcased several inspiring stories of small countries that succeeded in implementing market-oriented reforms that would serve The Bahamas well. Maurice McTigue, former minister of finance of New Zealand during its reforms of the 1980s, gave the keynote address.
